This historical off-market site, in Wilmette, Illinois needed a new purpose. With only a vision and a lot of tenacity, I procured the sale of the Masonic Lodge to a developer who is building a 16 unit multi-family development just east of downtown Wilmette and 10 blocks from Lake Michigan. Plans for leasing and management are underway for spring of 2022.

North Shore Exchange, a non-profit luxury resale shop, first opened in a building owned by the Woman’s Club of Glencoe, Illinois. Their modern twist and unique business model made them an instant success in the suburbs. With my foresight, encouragement and fortitude and their generous grant from the City of Chicago, I was able to secure them a second location at the 900 Shops, the Bloomingdale Building and shopping center in Chicago. Since then, they opened a third location at Westfield Old Orchard in Skokie, Illinois.
When I met Bella, she was looking for a 2 month pop-up lease at the 900 Shops to launch her beautiful jewelry line. She stayed on for a few years to follow as she perfected her brand and launched an online and ecommerce business that is thriving!
